Program Account Representative

FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Regional Unit Manager
Department: Programs

Purpose of Job

  • Provide support for quality and success of programs.
  • Use data from proposal review to identify program support and technical assistance needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and place telephone calls regarding contract management, government relations, and other RIF National related topics.
  • Provide technical assistance by telephone.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
  • Regularly update and maintain data.
  • Communicate problems and issues to Unit Manager.
  • Research skills to trouble shoot customer problems with software.
  • Travel to provide on-site technical assistance throughout the year as needed and directed by unit manager.
  • Participate in workgroups/special projects as needed.
  • Attend one professional development/content conference.
  • 5%-10% travel required.
  • Supervises no staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Education: BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Prior direct educational service preferred.
  • Prior customer service and general business office experience desired.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to set appropriate priorities, respond to changes, and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with daily demands.
  • Proficient with computer operations and data entry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to support team efforts and needs of the organization.
  • Orientated toward accuracy and service to customers.
