Sonya Williams, Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

Sonya WilliamsSonya Williams joined RIF in September 2007 as vice president of Human Resources and Administration.  She has nearly 20 years of experience in the human resources field.

Prior to joining RIF, Williams served as the Human Resources director for The American Occupational Therapy Association in Bethesda, Md., and the Human Resources director for Hearts & Homes For Youth, Inc., in Silver Spring, Md.  She has also served as the employee benefits manager for the American Bankers Association in Washington, D.C.

Williams earned a masters of arts in business management from Webster University in Webster Groves, Mo., and a bachelor of arts in journalism from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kan.  Williams is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute.  She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Society for Human Resources Management.
