Borden Milk and Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. (RIF) have joined together to promote the joy of reading for local children and encourage families to fuel up for optimal learning. Borden understands the importance of providing kids with the essential nutrients needed to develop sharp minds and will be supporting children's literacy by donating books and reading materials to schools throughout Texas and Louisiana.

As part of the ongoing partnership with RIF, Borden will donate 30 high-quality book collections to RIF programs throughout Texas and Louisiana. Each book collection includes 100 books about health and wellness and features both English and Spanish titles. In addition, at select sites, Borden will host special read-a-loud events with Elsie-the-Cow, and provide healthy eating tips from local registered dieticians to help kids start smart for a lifetime of learning.
