A strong supporter since 2004, Colgate-Palmolive has partnered with RIF to help families make bedtime fun and healthy. Over the last five years, Colgate has contributedmore than $1 million to RIF to provide hundreds of new book collections to children nationwide. The 2008 campaign, Healthy Habits For a Lifetime, includes: 125 donated book collections with books about personal hygiene and health, fun motivational materials, and an interactive website, colgatehealthyhabits.com where parents and children can access resources and games to help develop healthy brushing and reading habits.

In 2008, Colgate also extended their support of RIF by providing additional funding to support multicultural literacy. Out of a strong commitment to children’s literacy, Colgate donated over 20 Hispanic Heritage book collections to RIF programs nationwide. Each Hispanic Heritage collection includeds high-quality bilingual and culturally rich titles about Hispanic heritage.

Colgate received a Gold Cause Marketing Halo Award for Best National/Local Integration from the Cause Marketing Forum for the 2006 Healthy Bedtime Habits campaign with RIF.
