The Verizon Foundation generously supports multiple technology initiatives at RIF. These initiatives streamline processes for coordinators, enabling them to spend less time on their RIF program's administrative matters and more time working with the children and families they serve. In 2008, their support will enable RIF to launch a new online book ordering system with pre-selected book collections to simplify the process for RIF’s volunteer coordinators.

The Verizon Foundation is a committed supporter of education and literacy efforts, both through their charitable endeavors and through the creation of Thinkfinity.org, a free, comprehensive educational website designed to improve learning in traditional settings and beyond the classroom. RIF looks forward to continuing our work with The Verizon Foundation to improve the resources available to local program coordinators.
