Steven Kellogg Steven Kellogg, who has illustrated more than 100 children’s books, has been a life-long lover of picture books. As a child, he drew all the time. His favorite subjects were bids, animals, and other real-life inspirations. He has also written more than 30 children’s books.
He lives in a Connecticut farmhouse with his wife, Helen. They have raised six children together, along with many cats and dogs, some of which have inspired characters and books.
