Loren Long
Loren longLoren Long’s first picture book, Angela Johnson’s I Dream of Trains, won the Golden Kite Award for illustrations. He’s since won two gold medals from the Society of Illustrators. He also illustrated Mr. Peabody’s Apples, the New York Times bestseller written by Madonna.  

He’s also created editorial cartoons for several magazines. One of his most recent books, When I Heard the Learn’d Astronomer, was inspired by his two young sons and won a Parents’ Choice Gold Award.
