Ivan Velez, Jr. Bronx-born Ivan Velez, Jr. has been obsessed with comics, cartoons, karate movies, and Spanish soap operas from a young age. His work has been in several magazines, and he’s written titles for Milestone including Blood Syndicate, A Man Called Holocaust, and Static.
He’s also scripted for Marvel and DC Comics series. One of his most notable creations is Tales of the Closet, a 10-chapter graphic novel. Ivan has also created his own imprint, Planet Bronx Productions.
