Communicating with Donors:
Templates

paperpencilHere are sample templates you can personalize to send to businesses and individuals in your area. Be sure to keep track of all the correspondence you have with potential donors and contributors. As a RIF program, you can use the RIF logo in accordance with the guidelines on the Resources section of the coordinators website. Send the letters on your stationery and have each letter hand signed by someone.

In some cases, prospective donors may ask you for a letter of support from the national RIF office. For the letter of support, you will need to email it to your Program Specialist to have it printed and signed by a RIF representative. For more information on writing letters, check out the Fundraising Resources section.
