The new RIF Locator Map may generate inquiries about volunteer opportunities with your RIF program. To help you respond to these questions, we created e-mail templates for quick and easy replies to common inquiries. Feel free to cut-and-paste the text below for your responses. Please be sure to include any customized language for your program.

Template 1:
No volunteer opportunities are available at this time

Dear (Name),

Thank you for your interest in Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) and the (Program Name) RIF program. Currently we have no volunteer opportunities available for (our program or this site); however, we will keep your e-mail on file and will contact you when there is an opening.

We hope, meanwhile, that you will continue to invest in new generations of lifelong readers by reading with children whenever possible.

Template 2:
Restrictions to this program prevent us from using outside volunteers
