Reading Is Fundamental and Dollar General welcome you and your children to the engaging stories and literacy activities in this Hispanic Book Collection Resource Guide.

The guide presents a book-based multicultural approach to reading designed to involve children in the experience. This guide includes hands-on, cross-curricular activities for books centered on a multicultural theme.

Each section of this guide is divided by a range of school grades and includes:

  • A featured Hispanic children’s book with a suggested activity;
  • Annotated booklists for bilingual, Spanish, and English books; and
  • Story boosters—reading motivational activities.
