Wordless and Almost Wordless Picture Books

Wordless picture books are a wonderful way to introduce all young children to concepts they will later apply when learning to read. Adults—parents and others—and children can look at these books together and make up their own words to go along with the illustrations. Here are a few examples of popular wordless picture books.
