Nancy J. Keane, a library media specialist at Rundlett Middle School in Concord, N.H., has created a database featuring nearly 1,000 booktalks. In addition, the site includes an extensive collection of tips for presenting booktalks.

Billed as "an Internet guide for teens," this site is sponsored by the Young Adult Library Services Association of the American Library Association. Look for reviews of young adult books, a list of the top 20 books recommended by teens, and "Say What," an opportunity for teens to speak out on topics such as hazing, dress codes, Internet filters, and body image. In addition, there are links to other sites—comics and "zines," sports, homework, arts and entertainment, libraries, and more.
