Clifford Cares

Washington PBS station WETA is heading up a public service project designed to promote literacy and community involvement, working in partnership with Greater D.C. Cares and Scholastic, Inc. — publisher of Norman Bridwell's books featuring the adventures of Clifford. Through the Clifford Cares initiative, 50,000 books will be distributed to local nonprofit institutions serving children and families.

The Houston READ Commission

National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America
