  • Age: 15

  • RIF Alum Years: 1990s, 2000s

  • Favorite childhood book: The Harry Potter series

  • Favorite RIF Memory: My favorite RIF memory is the day I got the book A Time of Angels by Karen Hesse. Until then, I had never really liked reading. I only did it because it was required. I was in the 4th grade, and that book just grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Five years later, I still have the book even though I moved and I'm not longer in the RIF program. That book changed my life. Now all I do is read.00s

  • What do you read now? Fiction, nonfiction, history—just all kinds.
