  • RIF Alum Years: 1970s and '80s

  • Now that you are grown up, what do you do? Master of Divinity student.

  • Favorite childhood book: I loved Judy Blume books! I also liked stories about kids who lived in cities. I grew up in rural Ohio, so any story about New York City was very exciting.70's

  • Favorite RIF Memory: I remember how good the new books smelled! Fresh, crisp covers and pages that were clean and white.

  • Do you still have any of your RIF books? Yes. I think my parents still have my copy of Flowers for Algernon.

  • What do you read now? I'm now in graduate school, so most of my reading is "required." I usually read the newspaper, and I read to my chldren often. We like David Kirk, Harry Potter, and we're enjoying many Dr. Seuss books, too!
