 Help us continue our mission of creating a literate nation by getting involved with RIF! RIF owes its long history to all the wonderful people who share their time, money, and resources with us. Because of these RIF supporters, millions of children have received free, new books to own.
Join the many former RIF kids who are becoming a part of RIF for the second time. RIF alums bring a unique perspective about the RIF program. There are many ways you can reconnect with RIF and help this generation's RIF kids.
- Spread the Word About RIF
Chances are your friends and family members may not remember RIF, or even know that the organization is still around! Send a postcard to a friend and invite them to visit the RIF website to learn about all of RIF's achievements. Invite your children and their teachers to check out the free resources offered on RIF.org and the RIF Reading Planet.
- Make a Donation or Purchase to Benefit RIF
Your financial support helps us to open up the minds and the worlds of the children we serve. Please learn of the many giving options. Also, visit the RIF Store to purchase RIF-branded apparel, or buy a copy of The Art of Reading, RIF's 40th anniversary fundraising book.
- Be a Government Relations Advocate
Did you realize that the United States Congress pays for 75 percent of most RIF books? Without funding from Congress, most RIF programs would not exist. Let your Congressmen know about the value of the RIF program in your community. Visit RIF's online Advocacy Center to learn when and how to take action.
- Lend a Hand at a Local Program
