I absolutely LOVED this book (and all those by Sharon Creech, actually). Following this girl as she discovers a footpath, she finds much more than a secret passage. Engaging and multi-faceted, girls would really enjoy this book.

On her farm, 13-year-old Zinnia Taylor found a trail covered with debris. Zinnia is determined to clear the trail, but the trail isn't the only thing she clears. If you read this book, you'll never be able to put it down. It'll make you laugh and cry!

Chasing Redbird was awesome. I liked the story because of the characters and how the author weaved in the love of the natural world that surrounds us. The red bird was the best part because it made me think about it. Sharon Creech is a wonderful author. If you liked this book, you should try Walk on Two Moons.

This book may sound boring, but I loved it! I wouldn't put it down. When my favorite show was on I read instead. This book is amazing, but this author is too! I've read all her books, but this one is tied for first!
