Missouri author Cheryl Harness combines the story of Mark Twain with interesting facts about the majestic Mississippi river. Her illustrations and maps add detail to this dual story of one of Americas greatest authors and one of Americas greatest rivers.

Review:
This book is very interesting and it is very educational. It has a lot of history about steamboats, the Mississippi River and Samuel Clemons, otherwise known as Mark Twain. Cheryl Harness, the writer and illustrator of this book, has made it very colorful and she put alot of detail into the pictures. I think other kids would like to read this book.
