The rhyming text and lavish, detailed illustrations each provide clues, and it's up to the reader to piece them together and decide whodunit!

It is a very challenging and cool book! I really liked it! You have to look very closely and decode many things. It takes a lot of teamwork! There may be many red herrings in your way as you find the answer. ENJOY!

My principle is making us find all the clues in each page. I think it is really fun deducting and decoding all the clues throughout the book. I think Graeme Base is a very smart author and very tricky!

I'm way over the age level, but when I did this mystery in 6th grade with my class, I had so much fun. It was mind-boggling, and I was eleven! I recommend this book for any aged person; it's a great way to spend your time!
