I liked it when Leigh and his mom had a little together moment because I've had one too. I felt sad because Leigh's dad is away and he is having a thief stealing the good things from his lunch box. I think I should recommend it to someone because it is a really great book and I hope other people like this book to.

The part I liked best in Dear Mr. Henshaw was when Leigh made the burglar alarm. It was cool because he never gave up. Kids can really learn something. When I read this book I felt excited because I wanted so much to know what was going to happen at the end of the book. Reading this book was exciting, it can be exciting for someone else too. I would recommend this book to someone because it has interesting parts. This book can sometimes happen in real life. Anyone that loves to read would love this book. Its a great book you should try reading it.

I thought I wasn't going to like it but once I read it I liked it. My favorite part was when Leigh was giving demonstrations to people in the cafeteria with his lunch box, because he was making friends and he made Mr.Fridley proud of him for making that. Once we started getting more into the book I kept on felling sad for Leigh, his Mom, and his Dad. Like I said I thought I wasn't going to like it but I did and I look foward reading Strider. I would recommend it to someone because it was a good book.
