Review:

It was great. My favorite part was when Leigh's dad showed up. Because Leigh hadn't seen him in a while. When I was reading this book I felt sad, but I got happy when his dad showed up. I would recommend this book to anyone. I thought Beverly Cleary was great. So remember the name Dear Mr. Henshaw.

Review:

What I liked about this book was that it wasn't like other books. It was nice and sad at the same time. That's what I liked about this book. I felt good reading the book because it made me feel calm and it wasn't a fantasy like other books. It was a calm book. I liked the book a lot, because it was something that could actually happen.

I read this with my class in 4th grade. What I liked about it was the burglar alarm and the part with the butterflies. I felt a little bored and sad reading it.

My favorite part was when he invented the burglur alarm because that's how he made friends. I really felt sad because the store employee called him son, but his dad doesn't. I would recommend it to my step dad and grandparents because they like to read.

This book was really good. I can relate to Leigh because my parents are kind of separated. But I would recommend This book to anyone in the world! I might even read it again
