Esperanza Rising is a excellent book. This book is very sad but has a happy ending. It teaches me to never give up even though life might be a little rough. I recommend this book to kids of all ages. Its a great book.

This book touched my family's heart. It is such a a good book. it made me cry a little but the book was worth reading. Everyone should read this book no matter what age or if they are a boy or a girl.
