Junie B. is in a real funk. Her boyfriend dumped her, and when she tells her mother, she replies that Junie is too young for boys. Too young! Junie B. is tired of being treated like a baby. Why, she's a giant compared to her baby brother, so she's practically a grownup lady. She has to find someway to prove to everyone just how grownup she is.

I think this book is very funny. I think it was funny when Junie's cousin is picked to be the flower girl.

Barbara Parks is an exellent author. I liked how she captured the readers attention by writing in Junie B.'s voice by spelling the words that she says incorrectly. For example, instend of putting ran she would write "runned" or something similar to that. If you just love humerous books this is the book to read!
