Standing in the sun.
With the crisp sand crunching,
And the ceaseless waves lapping against shore.
I reminisced of how it used to,
Feel when I was not alone but,
In the company a great many,
Yet I understood full and well,
That
That was the way it should be.
The sun runs brazen,
And free on the rims of horizon,
Seemingly falling off of humanity itself.
Standing in the dark,
With the cold sand crunching,
