"Watch," mother told me.
"What is it you see?"
"I see faces aglow,
Children playing in the snow,
And people smiling where I look."
Mother's smile slightly shook.
"Listen," mother softly said,
"Let me hear what's in your head."
"I here bells ringing,
People gently singing,
Laughter flying in the sky--
Mommy, please don't cry!"
"Learn," mother smiled.
"You being a small child,
I have learnt much today,
There is not much to say,
Except I don't know how,
You taught me much right now."
