I was really looking forward to my upcoming summer. I would be a Junior Counselor at Camp Towanga. But one night my mom said she had some bad news. “Sorry honey,” my mom said. “I am going to have to work long hours this summer at the office, so I need you to stay home and take care of your younger sister instead of going to camp.” I couldn’t believe the words I was hearing!
