Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

by Dr. Seuss

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!

For more than a decade, millions of kids (and kids at heart) have drawn inspiration from Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll Go!—the last book he wrote and illustrated.

Using his signature style (humorous verse paired with imaginative illustrations), Dr. Seuss encourages kids to keep moving onward and upward despite life's "slumps" and "bang-ups." You can and will succeed, he tells them, it's "98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed."

"That's how he led his own life," Janet Schulman, his editor, told USA Today last May. "He is saying, 'Go out there. You are going to be great.'"

This spring, as your children graduate to preschool or kindergarten, share Dr. Seuss' last words with them. It's a great way to get them excited about all of the Great Places they will go!
