About the Contest:
In 1950, C.S. Lewis created a land of wonder and enchantment called Narnia, and since then millions of readers have come to discover the wondrous world that exists just beyond the back of the wardrobe. RIF asked kids to create their vision of the magical land of Narnia!

Two grand prize winners receive a prescreening movie party for up to 200 friends and family members, provided by Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media. They'll be one of the first to see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe which officially opens in theatres on December 9, 2005. What makes a winner?
When RIF's judges assembled, they were looking for artwork that…

• Easily and immediately conveys a representation of the world of Narnia.
• Offers an original, colorful, and well-designed poster.

Finalists were judged in two different age groups:

• 5-9 year olds
• 10-15 year olds
