RIF invites kids ages 5-15 to create posters of characters, scenes, or other imagery from the Charlotte's Web book.
Charlotte's Web, the best-selling children's paperback of all time, was written by E.B. White in 1952. White, an animal lover who lived on a farm in Maine, created the story of Wilbur the pig, Charlotte the spider, the little girl Fern, and other magical characters.
With the support of HarperCollins, Walden Media, and Paramount Pictures, the contest offers exciting prizes for the winners in three age groups (5-8, 9-11, and 12-15):
- Three grand prize winners will receive a prescreening movie party for up to 200 friends and family members. They'll be among the first people to see the Charlotte's Web movie, which opens December 20.
- Nine runners up will receive E.B. White prize packages.
Get your paper, paints, markers or crayons out and get creative! All artwork is due November 10.
