Reading Is Fun Week (May 12–18) is a time to share the joy of reading with children.

During RIF week, RIF programs across the country will host book distributions like the ones showcased in the poetic "RIF Day" video (right). At each distribution, children will get to choose a free book that they can take home and keep!

Reading Is Fun Week is also a time to discover how much fun reading can be!

Celebrate RIF Week in your home, classroom, or community with the fun and wacky literacy activities below.
