How many children does RIF serve?

Since our founding in 1966, RIF has placed 412 million books in the hands of more than 40 million children.

Where do RIF programs operate?

RIF operates programs in 17,000 locations in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Our program locations include schools, libraries, childcare centers, Head Start programs, health clinics, juvenile detention centers, homeless shelters, migrant camps, and virtually any other place where you might find children in need.

Who supports RIF programs?

RIF, at both the national and local levels, has formed alliances with a virtual "Who's Who" of the nation's major service organizations, including Kiwanis International, Rotary International, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Altrusa International, the Junior League, and parent teacher organizations. Our corporate partners include Macy's, Pitney Bowes, Nestlé, UGI, and others.
