Nestle’ Share the Joy of Reading Program

Here’s a sweet deal. The Nestle’ Share the Joy of Reading Program invites parents to enter a game code inside specially marked packages of Nestle’ and Wonka products. When you do, you could receive a $50 Barnes and Noble Gift Card and be entered in a drawing for a Nook Color! And just for entering, Nestle’ will donate 10¢ to RIF.

Be A Reader

RIF and Buddig are partnering up again this year through our Buddig Be a Reader program. Buddig will provide a minimum of $100,000 to RIF through May 30, 2013. In addition, Buddig is hosting the Be a Reader Virtual Book Drive to raise additional funds for books for kids in need. Visit the Buddig Be a Reader page to learn more.

Your voice matters. Thanks to your outreach last year, Congress voted to award $28 million to national literacy organizations and school libraries through a new competitive grant process.

This critical action will help restore funds for books and literacy resources for children in need nationwide and RIF is working on a proposal to the U.S. Department of Education.
