Materials: Cardboard or poster board Hole puncher Gold, silver, and bronzecrayons, paint, or glitter (and glue) Ribbon
Instructions: Trace medium-sized circles on acardboard or poster board. Tip:use the metal lid of a frozen orange juice can. Cut out the circles. Using crayons, paint, or glitter (and glue), transform the circles into gold, silver, and bronze metals. Punch a hole in the top of each circle. Thread a string of ribbon through each end and tie a knot at the ends. At the end ofyour Summer Reading Olympics, award the medals to the winners during an offical medal ceremony.
