Plan to take a walk with your baby. Pack a healthy snack and get out the stroller. Before heading out, list some things for your baby to look for during the walk, such as - Squirrels - Fire Hydrants - Blue Things - Trucks - Signs - Pigeons During the walk, point out these objects to your child. Let older babies and toddlers find some things for themselves and point them out. When your baby seems interested in something, stop long enough for him or her to observe or explore. After you walk, talk with your child about the outing.
