2011-12 Multicultural Booklist (Grades Pre K-5)

The 2011-12 Multicultural Book Collection includes 45 children's books and activities celebrating cultures from all over the world. Thanks to the generous support of Macy’s, 660 collections will be donated to RIF programs in low‐income communities in the U.S. To launch the collection, a group of esteemed authors and education experts – Joseph Bruchac, Ph.D., Christopher Myers, Loretta Lopez and Violet J. Harris, Ph.D. – joined RIF’s Vice President of Literacy Services Dr. Judy Cheatham for an engaging panel discussion.
