The RIF National Poster Contest Sponsored by Nestlé USA
 The RIF National Poster Contest is a back-to-school reading motivation competition that encourages children in RIF programs to express creative ideas about books and reading. The contest, made possible by generous support from Nestlé USA, has completed its 20th and final year.
Each September, more than 30,000 children in RIF programs nationwide sketch, paint, and color vibrant artwork related to the contest’s theme. Each site selects one young winner and sends his or her artwork to Washington, D.C., for the national competition. Each December, an independent panel of judges chooses a national champion, first and second runners-up, and 50 honorable mentions.
