Prior to joining the RIF staff, Galginaitis worked as an independent consultant assisting nonprofit organizations with charitable registrations and accounting and finance issues. He has also served as the Controller of the United Way of America and the Chief Financial Officer of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. Galginaitis began his nonprofit career at Price Waterhouse, where he implemented automated financial systems and consulted on accounting operations for numerous nonprofit organizations. Before working with nonprofits, he was a manager with ADP Network Services. Galginaitis is a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia, and he holds a master’s degree in business administration from Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Rochester. |

As the Chief Financial Officer, Jeffrey Galginaitis brings to Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. (RIF) more than 25 years of experience in financial management and analysis for nonprofit organizations. Named CFO in 1999, he led the organization’s conversion of manual financial records to a fully automated accounting system, including the automation of the ledgers of nearly 3,500 local RIF programs throughout the United States.
