RIF has an exciting Database Coordinator position that performs a wide variety of activities related to the maintenance and accuracy of RIFs databases as well as general office support. This position is an internal part of the operations team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the maintenance, update, accuracy and quality of the RIF donor database. Responsibilities include:

  • Develops queries and reports
  • Ensure data integrity related to donor records, flagging issues as needed.
  • Track and import contribution files and donations, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
  • Handle workplace giving applications and charitable state registrations.

General Administrative:

  • Maintains CEO's appointment schedule and expenses.
  • Maintain and execute office workflow procedures as first point of entry to RIF, ensuring high level of professionalism and maximum efficiency.
  • Provide general office support, including distribution of mail, office supplies, invoice/expense support, and payroll.
  • Maintain and develop filing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist employees on systems and procedures as needed.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficient in Raiser's Edge NXT.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Self-starter who is highly collaborative, resourceful, and agile.
  • Adept at learning new computer applications.
  • Capacity to work in a collegial environment that depends heavily on teamwork.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission of Reading Is Fundamental.
