Need awesome, new literacy materials for back to school? We’ve got you covered! Reading Is Fundamental is thrilled to announce the debut of Literacy Central, a free digital destination designed to help parents and educators foster a love of reading and literacy development in children
Literacy Central pairs classic and popular K-6 books with thousands of activities, games, reading passages, lesson plans, calendars, and videos – free of charge. Literacy Central features a broad selection of fiction and nonfiction titles tied to STEM content, multicultural themes, and special needs materials. Users can search by Common Core standard, Lexile, theme, grade level, or keyword to find favorite authors and illustrators and then download free resources designed specifically for that book. Plus, Literacy Central helps users organize favorite titles and resources, create book lists and share support materials. Ready to get started?
