"If I Ran for President" Writing Activity

In this creative writing and design activity, students imagine they are running for student president and create a campaign poster that reflects their values and ideas for positive change. Students first identify an issue they care about, develop a strong slogan, and outline a meaningful promise. They then design a visually engaging poster that clearly communicates their message through words, symbols, and thoughtful use of color.

This activity supports persuasive writing, leadership reflection, and visual communication skills while encouraging students to think critically about what it means to lead with purpose.
