Introducing BeeLine Reader on Literacy Central

We are pleased to partner with BeeLine Reader, a literacy organization whose innovative technology improves reading ability for students of all ages and skill levels. The BeeLine Reader technology displays text using a subtle color gradient, which wraps from the end of one line to the beginning of the next. This technique assists the visual tracking aspect of reading, allowing the reader to focus on higher-level reading functions that support reading comprehension.

In educational research studies, BeeLine Reader has shown remarkable results for many kinds of readers, including early readers, ELL students, and students with dyslexia, ADHD, or other LD. BeeLine Reader’s technology has won awards from Stanford University and The Tech Museum of Innovation, and people around the world have read hundreds of millions of pages with BeeLine Reader’s tools. We are excited to offer this tool—at no cost—to all of our Literacy Central users.
