Star's Purpose: A Military Mission

Right before Alice’s dad leaves for his deployment, he tells her a special story about a magical star. Star and her friends loved shining in the night sky, but they wished they could help people all the time. One day, the curious stars decide to zoom down to Earth—and they land right on the shoulders of service members!

This comforting story helps military children feel connected to the grown‑ups they miss. It reminds families that, “Every time I see a star, I’ll think of you. And stars are everywhere!”

The book also shares important values from every branch of the U.S. military.
