Be a RIF Reader

RIF Readers are individuals that volunteer to read with children, either as a guest reader for a group or in one-on-one reading sessions. Serving as a RIF Reader is just one of the ways you can help support RIF’s mission and impact literacy in your local community. We can’t understate the important role a caring adult has in a child’s life, modeling good reading behavior to motivate and inspire children to read on their own. RIF has created several toolkits to make it easy for you to volunteer in a classroom or community organization. Simply select a toolkit by theme or grade range to help guide your volunteer efforts. Each toolkit identifies a popular read aloud title supported by related discussion questions as well as fun and engaging activities to extend the learning beyond the book.
