Jade joined RIF in March 2023 through the AmeriCorps Vista program as Programs Coordinator for Washington D.C. In her role, Jade is responsible for identifying the current literacy efforts in the community and assessing any gaps in community literacy services to develop new outreach strategies to increase services to underserved communities. Jade is a recent graduate from Gannon University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Service and Global Affairs with a concentration in History and Legal Studies. Prior to RIF, Jade worked in the archives room of The Maryland Military Museum. Her professional passions include education policy and inequality, museum studies, and developing nontraditional learning methods.
