"I have memories of my mom reading this book to me, and I loved looking at the illustrations as she read. This book was the first time I felt a sense of adventure through reading and reminds me of the comfort of home."
Nick is joining RIF after serving with CityYear DC and teaching special education for two years in DCPS. He is passionate about increasing access to reading for all students and combatting educational inequity. Nick holds a BS of Public Service and Public Policy from Arizona State University and MS of Education from Johns Hopkins University.
