Ryan Grimsland is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Advance Auto Parts, having joined the company in November 2023. In this role, Ryan leads the company’s finance and accounting functions and oversees both the technology and strategy organizations, aligning financial discipline, digital capabilities, and enterprise strategy to drive performance and long term value creation.
Prior to joining Advance Auto Parts, Ryan served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Transformation at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. Over a 17 year tenure at Lowe’s, he held multiple senior leadership roles across the finance and strategy organizations, including Senior Vice President, Strategy and Transformation; Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer; Vice President, Business Development & International; and Vice President, Stores Finance. These roles provided him with deep experience across financial leadership, strategic planning, capital allocation, and enterprise transformation.
Earlier in his career, Ryan held positions in operations and finance at Haverty’s Furniture and UBS, developing a strong foundation in operational execution and financial rigor.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from High Point University and a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University.
