Books and Read-Alouds at South Pointe Elementary

Reading Is Fundamental, in partnership with Amazon, hosted a book celebration event at South Pointe Elementary in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Students had a blast selecting fun, age-appropriate books to take home and keep, while Amazon employees dedicated their time volunteering to engage with the children through read-alouds and activities. They even got a visit from soccer player and author of the 1% Kid, Channing Chasten.

The event reflected RIF and Amazon’s longstanding partnership under the mission to provide children with access to books, fostering a love of reading and building home libraries that support lifelong literacy.
